Why not?
The best is the most durable?
So one of my best investments I made when I was only around 21 or 22, while in Calcutta India, I bought these really really expensive at the time, maybe like $500 or $700 LINDBERG frames, 100% titanium, apparently the same ones that bill gates wears, and even up until today, for like almost 15 years I’ve owned the same pair of glasses. I’ve swapped out the frames, but the titanium Lindberg frame, is phenomenal. Like literally the best decision ever, even though it was really expensive for me at the time.
So the funny thought is first, there is a kind of Zen that comes with having the best. You no longer need to search. Maybe this is also the same idea with bitcoin, the reason why it is Susann is that it is the best, there is no more used to seek for something “betterâ€, because once again you’re already at the top of the pyramid.
Why do we see better? Or the best?
I think it is human nature. I don’t know a single human being who does not want to better his or her situation, and everyone wants the best. The bigger issues whether you could afford it or not.
For example we all want to provide the best life for our kids, the best schooling etc.
Once you could afford the best everything, then what?
So one of the big problems about American culture is that you might already have the best, but after having the best, you strive for “more betterâ€,, even if it may not exist? And then this is the pernicious effect of online shopping, you then just spend your whole day seeking for a better products to buy? To replace what you already got? Even if you already have the best?
why?
Perhaps it is just human ambition, which I think is a good thing. Then my simple thought is once you have the best, better focus your energies elsewhere?
A simple thought and idea is to just spend more time and desire to walk around! For me, walking might be my prime passion of all time? Is where I get all my creative ideas, all of my joy?
To me, a life without walking is not a life worth living
if you try to take on the sun you’re going to lose
A new attitude I have is to just have the right clothes or the right strategy that maximize your walking ability, not a sun or shade thing, simply, maximum walking ability?
more shaded areas to walk?
For myself, oddly enough, during the day, being indoors and indoor air-conditioned places robs me of my energy? Rather than giving me energy?
Therefore, what I personally see is at least while here in Cambodia, to discover more shaded areas, to walk more, to think more?
And I also suppose here, this is the logic of waking up early because if you wake up early, you could walk a lot without the heat and the direct sun?
Sun training
At the same time, I like the idea that I could be very very resilient and robust against the sun, and so little by little, I tried to trade myself to take on the heat and the sun?
.
Overheating vs over cold?
