The difference between sex and gender; sex is biological, male or female, gender is sociological.
Just leave the transgender people alone!
For example, a crunch fitness gym, had this big issue. Actually after reading the article and use report, I had deep compassion for the individual who in his her 60s transitioned from male to female. I think under no regards is acceptable that his her genitals were grabbed, and also he she was called a “fucking faggot†in the male locker room.
I suppose the issue is, the issues has to deal more with people who will try to “troll†the system. But, I think 99.99% of these troll theories are hypothetical and never really happened. Therefore they should be discounted.
In California, opening a gym that only allows men could be legally problematic due to the state’s strong anti-discrimination laws. The Unruh Civil Rights Act (Civil Code § 51) prohibits business establishments from denying anyone “full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services” because of their sex, gender, gender identity, or gender expression, among other traits. This law means that people of all genders have the right to full and equal participation in public accommodations like gyms oai_citation:1,Rights of Transgender and Nonbinary People in Gyms and Spas | ACLU of Southern California.
Additionally, California law explicitly protects the rights of transgender and nonbinary individuals in public accommodations, which would include gyms. Businesses cannot deny access to facilities or services based on an individual’s gender

There have been legal cases in California where gyms were sued for discriminatory practices based on gender identity. For instance, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing sued a gym for refusing to allow a transgender woman to use women’s locker rooms, highlighting the legal risks of gender-based discrimination in gym facilities oai_citation:4,ACLU: Crunch Fitness Gym Sued for Refusing To Let Transgender Woman Use Women’s Locker Room | ACLU of Southern California.
Therefore, opening a men-only gym in California could potentially violate state anti-discrimination laws, and consulting with a legal expert is advisable to understand all applicable laws and regulations.
