For example, the thought is simple; don’t trust anybody who is sponsored, requires advertisements or money in order to make a living. Why?
if somebody is not independently wealthy from the thing, it might be a signal that when they’re doing the thing, they’re either lying, doing it out of desperation to make money, etc.
For example for myself, I am already independently wealthy from photography and my cryptocurrency speculations, therefore anything I say about philosophy and or weightlifting and fitness is genuine and true.
Compare me with other people who have to make fitness their living; most likely they are on the juice.
This is the good thing about earning your money elsewhere; then whenever you talk or write about a certain topic, it is true.
Don’t trust “professional†academics, scholars, writers, fitness people, crypto people etc.
