Teaching your kids ownership

Something I’ve observed, when you give your kids more autonomy and control, and ownership, they become more mature.

For example, Seneca helped me cook beef brisket in the air fryer, and as a consequence, he also eats better.

Or for example, I have him to choose his sleeping outfits, and as a consequence, he is more compliant in his nap time or sleep routine.

Or, having him squeeze his own medicine into his own bottle.

He is only two years old and three months old, and already, he knows how to use Google maps on my phone to navigate to Whole Foods and to home.
