The closest thing we got to games is thinking about the funeral games in the Iliad.

They were all physical—

the horse chariot race, the sprinting race, the wrestling match, the boxing match, etc. They all still simulated martial arts?

Video games are bad because they do not involve any physical attributes.

Perhaps when we think of sports, they are more virtuous “games“. But they must be physical, like American football, rugby, etc.

Or certain track and field sports like javelin toss, shotput etc.
