I can bench six plates. Now what?

Specifically, my record is six plates in a 2.5 on each side.

Besides trying to be macho, and just doing what everyone else is doing, is there really a good reason to do a bench press or floor bench press?

The first thought is it is just a fun thing to do is to kill time when you have already done a one rep max rack pull or atlas lift the other day.

Also assuming that you do a crazy arch, I think it is a good thing to strengthen your spine and flexibility, and also your leg Drive. Therefore for the sake of strengthening your back and your spine, and making yourself more flexible, in your back, and your arch, I think it is worth it!
