One Rep Max Powerlifting While Fasted

A day or two ago, I got some pretty bad stomach food poisoning, and I threw up, and slept for about 18 hours. As a consequence, I fasted for about 48 hours, missing dinner on one meal.

But the funny thing is, I just went to the gym today, having fasted for 48 hours (two days), and I was able to successfully hit a new personal record in my rack pull, eight plates.

Therefore, all of this nonsense that you must consume something before we lifting, or “working out”, is total nonsense.
