One of the phrases which I hate is the notion of “content creator”, or creating “content”. Why? To refer to what you create as “content” is based and degrading. For example, whenever people refer to things as “content“, I imagine the pink sludge coming out of the industrial toothpaste container which makes McDonald’s chicken nuggets.
What should we refer to the things we create as?
Perhaps we should just call it our art, artwork, our creative work, or our creations. Maybe even better to call it “stuff”, for example, Cindy’s tag line is, “I just like to make stuff.”
