Currently, the only potential competitor to iPhone is Samsung.

Some ideas for Samsung:

First of all, do not think zero sum. If you want more people to buy Samsung phones, it will just be a supplement to the iPhone. Note, the ideal is that somebody owns both an iPhone pro, and a Samsung phone.

The second idea; do not optimize it for photography. Maybe it should be rather optimize to be a productivity device instead.
