Never yield in that which you believe in.
Also, good idea to use your weapons of aggression, and your anger to prevent yielding.
What does society in religion and ethics strive to do? To make us more yielding. To become “nicer”, more “kind”, predictable and yielding.

And what are we pressured to yield to? To “reason”, “logic”, “data”, “evidence”, “proof”, “science”, “common sense”, “cultural norms”, elders, “experts”, “professionals”, authority figures and doctors etc.
Also, to kowtow to people with “credentials”, degrees, education, etc
