What *should* a home be, and how *should* a home be designed?
For big suburban homes, it should revolve around the kitchen
Assuming you live in the burbs, design or re-design your kitchen to be an ‘open’ concept, so life revolves around the kitchen, as it should.
Maximum light
Better to have insanely huge floor to ceiling windows, with less square footage, than a bigger home with less natural light.
Is the point to have the most epic home, with the most epic view, with the most luxurious designs and never leave?
No.
Ever since hiking a lot with Cindy, my mom, and family … I realized:
The view from outside, while *on* the hike is *superior* than seeing it from inside your (walled) home.
