A turbo thought:
Better to seek MORE CONTROL rather than ‘more happiness’, or even ‘more joy’ or even ‘better’.
For example, TESLA cars are perhaps the best car, but you don’t have as much control. You have less control of the platform — you still gotta bring it into a TESLA dealership if you want to get things fixed or changed. Perhaps then it is better to have an old-school gasoline car you can still change your own oil, and change the parts and modify and customize it yourself (even though it is less sexy, and more of a pain in the ass).
Same goes with APPLE products, perhaps Android phones are superior to iPhones insofar much as you have more control over how to change it, edit it, and customize it.
Also why I am so pro-crypto currency — you have more control over your money and resources.
