Even Though You Achieve Your Aesthetic Ideals, You’ll Still Not Be Pleased.

We Will Never Be Pleased.

Perhaps the goal in life isn’t to seek satisfaction. Because even though I have certain aesthetic ideas I like for myself, even though I have achieved them, I’m still not satisfied.

Therefore our desire for things, and aesthetic ideals — The pursuit of these things shouldn’t be for satisfaction. Maybe rather, we just must fulfill our insatiable drives toward something? Also in doing so, knowing that even if we achieve our goal at hand, will still not be satisfied and want more.

What’s the point of striving toward something, knowing well that even though you achieve it, you’ll still not be satisfied?

Then perhaps are all goals, ideals, and strivings bad?

I simply do what I must

Then a simple Takeaway is this: know that no matter what you pursue in life, it will never satisfy you. But you still do it because you must.

No material possessions, no matter how good or awesome will bring you satisfaction

Same thing goes with money. Even if you have a certain life goal of achieving a certain amount of money, you still won’t be satisfied.

Then maybe the simple goal is don’t worry so much about your things or your possessions, but just put all of your heart and soul into your creative faculties, in your art creation, in your own personal philosophy, and sharing and publishing these thoughts and findings with others.
