We shoot all these photos. How do we know which photo or version is the best?

1. One by one

Look at all the photos, one by one:

Or as small thumbnails:

Or using Procreate to draw compositional lines, visual gist, and drawing what I see:

The gist I see:

A strong diagonal (triangle composition, with the “Dutch angle” leaned to the side is best).

So if you’re trying to figure out which photo is best, deconstruct it.

2. The distance question

Typically the closer you are the better. So you can see when I am analyzing these photos, the closer ones are superior.
