The philosophy of digestion: how we should perhaps think more about the importance of digestion; both physiologically and philosophically.
Perhaps before we try to solve for “mental health†issues, what if we first prioritized our physiological health? Our digestion? For example getting rid of foods from our diet which ruin our digestion and negatively affect our sleep and health. For example:
- No more beans and legumes. Abstain from beans. The flatulence and farting — a sign that it isn’t a food that is good for our digestion.
- No more diary: no cheese, milk, protein powders, etc.
- No more alcohol, wine, beer, weed.
- No more ice cream, carbs, sodas, and other strange modern confections.
- Certainly no more strange drugs. No cocaine, heroin, or any uppers or downers … not even in “moderationâ€. Avoidance of strange modern vegan and vegetarian foods.
