You’re the most difficult person to conquer

Abstract yellow

The first idea:

There is nobody more difficult for you to conquer than yourself.

To conquer your feelings of guilt. To conquer your self censorship. To strive to achieve your life goals. To conquer your idleness or fear.

Why conquer others?

To me, the notion of trying to conquer other human beings seems too basic and easy. I think much of this desire to conquer others comes from a sense of pettiness — the insecurity of your own personal greatness and ego.

Once again — if you considered yourself as a truly great individual — what interest do you have in conquering others? Why show so much interest in others — what do you desire to extract from others what you don’t already got? Perhaps inherent in the desire to subdue other humans is a point of insecurity or fear.

What does it mean to conquer yourself?

Conquering yourself means:

Conquer all feelings of fear, insecurity, and cowardice in order to strive towards your own personal epic life goals.

What can you control?

My thought is this: there is much you cannot control in life, but what you can control is this:

Your ability to conquer your own cowardice.

What is virtue?

To me, virtue is courage. Virtue and courage is open to all human beings. You can control the degree of courage you exhibit in life. You cannot control your success or failure, but we can control courage or cowardice.
