Why iPhone Pro is Better than Google Pixel 4

My thought:

Google Pixel will never be as good as iPhone, here’s why:

  1. Google is becoming increasingly “spammy”. Pixel phone doesn’t allow you to disable much of the stuff on the home screen.
  2. Considering at this point everyone’s primary computer is their phone (most people don’t own multiple phones), iPhone UI/UX is superior than Google Pixel 4. IPhone UI/UX as being more minimal, more simple, direct, and their Apple ecosystem is better tied to all Apple products.
  3. Google Pixel 4 camera is very good, but you cannot do simple things like shoot with a filter in real time. The iPhone Pro noir mode is truly beautiful and excellent.
  4. Airdrop: Apple’s Airdrop is truly the killer feature. To seamlessly send files from your iPhone to iPad to Macbook makes life 1000x easier. Also easier to send photos shot on your iPhone to other iPhone users (at this point essentially everyone owns an iPhone).
  5. Apple imessage is excellent: This is also a great feature; Google has no equivalent besides maybe Hangouts (which nobody really uses). Sending photos and videos via imessage to other Apple users is as seamless as Snapchat or WhatsApp.

What if I prefer Android?

It seems the Pixel 3A is the phone to get if you prefer Android, not the Pixel 4.

Distractions galore

Don’t bother with Pixel 4

I hate to say this, but if you’re interested in having a new phone, it’s literally no contest. iPhone Pro is at least 50x better than Pixel 4 for UI/UX, better materials (iPhone Pro matte back is the best finish I’ve ever used on a phone), better UI/UX for the camera, and all these other abilities.

Just get iPhone Pro.
