An idea I got from my buddy Ryan from Backyard Brew in Palo Alto:
Perhaps the best way to live life is directly. To think about your personal ‘end game’, and attack it directly.
What is your end-game?
If you had 10 trillion dollars in the bank, and you didn’t need to work for a living, what would you do with your time, focus, and life?
My end-game
For myself, I desire to maximize my artistic and creative output.
For example:
- Publish blog posts
- Share new photos
- Innovate in my photography, artistic vision
- Come up with new interesting/epic ideas
- Create new philosophical concepts
- Become physically stronger [increase my ‘one rep max’ lifts]
- Empower others [create new platforms, like arsbeta.com]
Determine your own life goals
Money is only a tool, or a means.
To make money for the sake of making money isn’t the goal.
Thus I encourage you to really think for yourself:
What do I truly desire to create in life?
Once you determine this for yourself, just keep doing it!
