LIFE HAS NO CHARGER

Apple store, 2014

Dear friend,

Never forget your life is limited. And there is no charger for life.

One.

Seattle, 2014

I usually don’t to coffee shops with a charger. Why? A simple reminder that my battery is limited. Not to waste my charge on pointless shit.

I leave my chargers at home, and let myself feel the panic of having a low 5% battery charge. That anxiety gives me focus, to work only on important shit.

Two.

Provincetown, 2014

What’s important in my life?

  1. Cindy (my wife)
  2. My creative work
  3. My family & friends

Nothing else.

Anything that is not those three, I consider a distraction. Or weed. And like a good gardener, I try to keep my garden prim and proper. I cut out the weeds.

Three.

Berkeley, 2014

A fun experiment, try to go a day without bringing your chargers with you.

How would you live differently?

Your life, like your phone battery is limited.

What if your life was only at 5% charge? What you not waste your life on?

BE STRONG,
ERIC
