I am excited to announce that I am heading to Paris tonight to attend Leica + Magnum’s “Past.Present.Future” event. I am busy packing up my things as we speak, and I made a quick video to describe what I’m bringing and my thoughts about the trip.

Packing List:

Please wish me a safe trip! I will try my best to blog when I am overseas, but not sure how my internet access will be. Stay tuned on my Facebook and Twitter as well! 1x1.trans Heading to Paris for the Leica + Magnum Past.Present.Future Event

    Hi, Eric.

I’m on the look for a new camera bag. I currently own a Lowepro Slingshot 202 and it’s great for traveling, or camping as it fits a whole bunch of camera stuff (mine is a Nikon D3100).

However, I’m looking for a new shoulder bag as it is a bit cumbersome to carry all that stuff around in the streets. The one I have my eyes on right now is ThinkTank Photo Retrospective 5/10 as I really like the ability it gives you (so I’0ve read) to customize the separators/compartments and besides, it looks awesome.

Reading this post I wonder how you manage to organize your stuff in this Timbuk2 messenger bag… it seems cool and comfortable enough, but I’m curious about how you organize your photo stuff in there as I’m planning to use it only as a camera bag.

I would really appreciate if you shared a video of your “bag layout”.

    Thanks a lot!!

P.S: I LOVE your blog and your tweets, they’re really an awesome resource!

Really happy for you Eric, and like you say a dream come true.

I am looking forward in hearing all about your experience and I hope the M9 Battery stays juiced up enough for some amazing photos.

    Safe trip!

    Hi Eric,

I am really jealous, I think you’ll have a great time. Paris is probably the best city in the world for street photography.

Don’t forget to keep us updated with the new kit Leica are set to announce (M9-P ?)
