Neo fortunately takes the chance and follows the white rabbit:<\/p>\n<figure><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekizz.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/06\/matrix-cinematography-104.jpg?w=1180\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>There is an ancient Venetian proverb:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The ocean is deeper the further you go into it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The same philosophy with &#8216;following the white rabbit\/follow the rabbit hole&#8217; (concept from Alice in Wonderland).<\/p>\n<p>In real life, we have the option to take the &#8216;safe&#8217; option, or we have the option to go into an unknown rabbit hole. I think <strong>to live a more interesting\/epic life, we should go down more unknown rabbit holes, and go on more adventures!<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Window wiping symbolism<\/h2>\n<p>There is this funny scene, when Neo wakes up and he is late for his boring job.<\/p>\n<p>The cinematography is this: you see a window with soap suds, being wiped off.<\/p>\n<p>To me the symbolism is this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Neo is about to have his &#8216;false reality&#8217; wiped&#8211; so he can see &#8216;real reality&#8217;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekizz.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/06\/window-wiping-1.jpg?w=1180\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekizz.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/06\/window-wiping-2.jpg?w=1180\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ekizz.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/06\/window-wiping-3.jpg?w=1180\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>On not taking risks<\/h2>\n<p>One scene is when Neo gets a call from Morpheus, telling him the agents are coming after him. he simply gives the option\/choice to Neo.<\/p>\n<p>Same thing for us in real life&#8211; <strong>we always have an option in life&#8211; we can control which path to take!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Reality isn&#8217;t what we think it is<\/h2>\n<p>When Neo takes the red pill, he starts to realize&#8230;the &#8216;reality&#8217; I was around 10 years old. essentially &#8216;plugged into&#8217; the matrix (mindless social media, blogs, websites, Netflix, etc).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>The unplugging<\/h2>\n<p>The excruciating pain of unplugging from
