1. Shoot more scenes that scare you<\/h2>\n

To advance your photography, censor yourself less. Which means,<\/p>\n

\n If you see something you want to photograph, yet you feel nervous or afraid \u00e2\u20ac\u201d lean into the fear, and shoot it anyways.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Why shoot more of what you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re afraid of?<\/p>\n

I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t really know what it means to take \u00e2\u20ac\u0153better\u00e2\u20ac\u009d photos, but I know what it means do take more challenging photos. In street photography, scenes or people who scare me are more challenging.<\/p>\n

Assignment: For a month, whenever you see a person or a scene that scares you, you must photograph it, or ask for permission to shoot.<\/p>\n

2. Be more experimental with your compositions<\/h2>\n

Experiment with your compositions, by trying to shoot layers, create more depth, or moving your subject around your frame.<\/p>\n

Rather than shooting your subjects in the center of the frame, compose them off-center<\/a>, to make a more dynamic picture.<\/p>\n

Focus on what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s furthest away in the background, not what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s closest to you.<\/p>\n

There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s only one way to elevate and grow yourself as a photographer: never stop challenging your compositions in photography. Keep experimenting.<\/p>\n

3. Get closer<\/h2>\n

Generally the closer your photos, the better. The biggest difficulty we have in street photography is to get closer.<\/p>\n

Why get closer? The closer you get, the more intimate<\/a> and soulful your photos.<\/p>\n
