Isolate yourself from modern-day social media and hype. Surround yourself with the masters of photography and art.<\/p>\n

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m reading Charles Darwin \u00e2\u20ac\u0153On the origin of species\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00e2\u20ac\u201d and this one of the main principles he suggested \u00e2\u20ac\u201dhow species adapt, evolve, with new and beneficial adaptations.<\/p>\n

2. Isolate yourself from social media<\/h2>\n

For example, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m so glad I deleted my Instagram<\/a>, and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m off the social media treadmill of uploading images everyday. I remember I used to get anxiety when I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t upload my daily photo. Now, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m in my little happy zen bubble, surrounding myself with close friends and family, surrounding myself with great artists of the past, and finding the biggest inspiration from outside of photography \u00e2\u20ac\u201d from music, architecture, design, zen philosophy<\/a>, poets like Homer, and sculpture.<\/p>\n

3. You need time to become unique.<\/h2>\n

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not suggesting for you to isolate yourself from everyone. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m saying,<\/p>\n

\n Isolate yourself as far away from trends, hype, and anything social media.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

You are a rare species, a rare animal \u00e2\u20ac\u201d you need time to adapt, and you need time to grow, and to develop your very unique vision.<\/p>\n
