Do you have pride in your own pictures?<\/p>\n

Do you love your own pictures?<\/h2>\n

When you look at your own pictures, do you look at them and think to yourself:<\/p>\n

\n My pictures are dope.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Or,<\/p>\n

\n I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m proud of my pictures.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Or, do you feel unsure, or uncertain about your pictures \u00e2\u20ac\u201d and must upload and share them on social media before you really<\/em> know how you feel about them?<\/p>\n

Know your worth<\/h2>\n

Modern photographer, do you know your own self-worth?<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

You made your pictures. You are the creator. You are the visual poet. You are the maker.<\/p>\n

But as a maker, we must be uncompromisingly sincere about our own pictures. We must be brutally honest with ourselves.<\/p>\n

\n Do we love our own pictures because we made them? Or do we love our pictures because they are good pictures?\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tip: Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t call them \u00e2\u20ac\u0153my\u00e2\u20ac\u009d pictures, but the<\/em> pictures. You disconnect your ego from your pictures, so you can ruthlessly \u00e2\u20ac\u0153kill your babies\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n

Marinate, then hate<\/h2>\n

Let your pictures sit and marinate for a long time, then you will realize whether you really love them, or hate them.<\/p>\n

Time is our ultimate counselor in photography.<\/p>\n

The good pictures: they taste better over time.<\/p>\n

The bad pictures: we start to feel disgusted with them, as time goes on.<\/p>\n

Like a nice jar of kimchi, ferment your pictures and let them sit… to truly know what their real taste is.<\/p>\n

Or brew your own beer, and know your own taste, and make your pictures lively and hoppy.<\/p>\n

Choose you.<\/h2>\n

So friend, do you like your pictures or not?<\/p>\n

Also, consider the situation:<\/p>\n

  1. Everyone loves your pictures, but you hate them. <\/li>\n

    Which would you choose?<\/p>\n

    My suggestion: choose you.<\/strong><\/p>\n
