1. Trace your own pictures<\/h2>\n

For fun, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been tracing my favorite pictures with my iPad and the Procreate app.<\/p>\n

The reason why this has helped me overcome my creative slump is that it makes me realize:<\/p>\n

\n It isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t about being a great photographer \u00e2\u20ac\u201d it is about being a great \u00e2\u20ac\u0153visual artist\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A \u00e2\u20ac\u0153visual artist\u00e2\u20ac\u009d doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t put limits on themselves. A visual artist sees opportunities, rather than barriers which are defined by \u00e2\u20ac\u0153genres\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in art.<\/p>\n

When I figured out, that I could be creative and artistic regardless of what tool I used (iPad, phone, camera, digital or film, pen, paper, etc), I got a HUGE NEW WAVE of inspiration and motivation in my creative spirit.<\/p>\n
