For me, I don’t see ‘good’ or ‘bad’ art. To me, it is only authentic art, or inauthentic art.<\/p>\n

You want to be a genuine artist. You need to tell your own story– in your own words.<\/p>\n

The biggest inspiration I’ve been getting from Cindy is that she is writing her own history, her own present, and her own future<\/a>. She has shown that the pen is stronger than the gun, and her personal life stories of her immigrant narrative, her family’s refugee story, and the strength of her mother shows her courage<\/a>. She has the courage to tell her own<\/em> story, and tell the story of her own life story — rather than to just ‘commentate’ on the modern politics and random shit happening in the news and media.<\/p>\n
