Entrepreneurship is about becoming dangerous.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dangerous in the best sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dangerous because you can create value from nothing.<br>Dangerous because you can publish without permission.<br>Dangerous because you can sell without begging.<br>Dangerous because you can think independently.<br>Dangerous because you do not need a boss, a gatekeeper, a credential, a venture capitalist, a committee, or applause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This page is the starting point for my philosophy of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not entrepreneurship as taught in business school.<br>Not entrepreneurship as \u201craise money, hire fast, burn cash, exit.\u201d<br>Not entrepreneurship as networking events, pitch decks, LinkedIn cosplay, or fake productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I mean <strong>real entrepreneurship<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The art of transforming your energy, curiosity, courage, and personal taste into value for the world \u2014 and then owning the upside.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurship is bodybuilding for the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You progressively overload your courage.<br>You train your eye.<br>You train your judgment.<br>You train your stomach for risk.<br>You train your ability to ship.<br>You train your ability to stand alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is for the solo founder, the artist, the photographer, the blogger, the writer, the Bitcoiner, the weightlifter, the immigrant hustler, the street philosopher, the digital savage, the self-sovereign creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the Eric Kim entrepreneurship page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let us begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. What Is Entrepreneurship?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurship is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>See a problem. Create a solution. Share it. Sell it. Improve it. Repeat forever.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You do not need permission.<br>You do not need a degree.<br>You do not need a logo.<br>You do not need investors.<br>You do not need a perfect website.<br>You do not need an office.<br>You do not need employees.<br>You do not need to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurship begins the moment you decide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cI will no longer merely consume reality. I will create reality.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur is not a \u201cbusinessperson.\u201d<br>The entrepreneur is a creator of new worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A photographer creates images.<br>A writer creates language.<br>A bodybuilder creates a body.<br>A philosopher creates concepts.<br>A Bitcoiner creates sovereignty.<br>An entrepreneur creates value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cThere was nothing here. Now there is something.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is divine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. The Eric Kim Definition of Entrepreneurship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My definition:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Entrepreneurship is personal freedom through creative production.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freedom from bosses.<br>Freedom from wage slavery.<br>Freedom from algorithms.<br>Freedom from trends.<br>Freedom from needing permission.<br>Freedom from cowardice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But freedom is not free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You must earn it through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>courage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>discipline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>publishing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>selling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ownership<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>experimentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>physical strength<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mental independence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>daily creative production<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The modern entrepreneur must be a hybrid beast:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Artist + Philosopher + Athlete + Technologist + Merchant + Monk + Warrior.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You need the eye of a photographer.<br>The curiosity of a child.<br>The discipline of a lifter.<br>The patience of a Bitcoiner.<br>The aggression of a Spartan.<br>The generosity of a teacher.<br>The independence of a street photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is not passive income.<br>This is not \u201cescape the 9-to-5\u201d fantasy.<br>This is not laptop-on-the-beach nonsense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A beautiful war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A war against fear, laziness, conformity, mediocrity, debt, fake status, and spiritual weakness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Why Entrepreneurship Matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurship matters because it is the most direct path to self-sovereignty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you depend on an employer, you are fragile.<br>When you depend on a platform, you are fragile.<br>When you depend on trends, you are fragile.<br>When you depend on approval, you are fragile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when you can create, publish, sell, and adapt \u2014 you become anti-fragile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You become harder to kill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur does not ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWho will hire me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur asks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat can I build?\u201d<br>\u201cWhat can I teach?\u201d<br>\u201cWhat can I sell?\u201d<br>\u201cWhat can I own?\u201d<br>\u201cWhat can I improve?\u201d<br>\u201cWhat can I create that did not exist yesterday?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurship is not merely economic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is existential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To become an entrepreneur is to declare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cMy life belongs to me.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Who This Page Is For<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This page is for you if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You want to build something from scratch.<br>You want to stop waiting for permission.<br>You want to become financially and creatively independent.<br>You want to publish your thoughts.<br>You want to turn your obsessions into value.<br>You want to make your own website.<br>You want to sell your own products.<br>You want to own your audience.<br>You want to become stronger, bolder, and more sovereign.<br>You want to live more like a warrior-poet than a corporate drone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This page is especially for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Photographers<\/strong> who want to build a real creative business.<br><strong>Bloggers<\/strong> who want to own their platform.<br><strong>Artists<\/strong> who hate asking galleries for permission.<br><strong>Writers<\/strong> who want to publish daily.<br><strong>Bitcoiners<\/strong> who care about self-custody and freedom.<br><strong>Lifters<\/strong> who understand discipline.<br><strong>Young people<\/strong> who do not want to become domesticated.<br><strong>Parents<\/strong> who want to build generational independence.<br><strong>Misfits<\/strong> who know they are not built for the cubicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welcome home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. The First Principle: Own Yourself<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you own a business, own yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Own your body.<br>Own your mind.<br>Own your time.<br>Own your name.<br>Own your website.<br>Own your audience.<br>Own your ideas.<br>Own your tools.<br>Own your money.<br>Own your future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opposite of entrepreneurship is dependency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dependency on bosses.<br>Dependency on social media.<br>Dependency on banks.<br>Dependency on credentials.<br>Dependency on prestige.<br>Dependency on external validation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur\u2019s first act is psychological secession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You leave the empire of other people\u2019s opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You stop asking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWill they like this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You start asking:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIs this true?\u201d<br>\u201cIs this useful?\u201d<br>\u201cIs this powerful?\u201d<br>\u201cDoes this increase life?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>6. The Entrepreneurial Body<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weak body, weak business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your body is your first startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you optimize your funnel, optimize your flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lift heavy.<br>Walk daily.<br>Eat real food.<br>Sleep hard.<br>Get sun.<br>Build muscle.<br>Destroy cowardice with squats, deadlifts, stones, sprints, hills, and iron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because entrepreneurship is physical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stress is physical.<br>Risk is physical.<br>Courage is physical.<br>Decision-making is physical.<br>Confidence is physical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A strong body gives you a stronger appetite for risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur must not be a pale, over-caffeinated, sleep-deprived spreadsheet goblin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Become robust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Become animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Become impossible to intimidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The best business supplement is muscle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>7. The Entrepreneurial Mind<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur\u2019s mind is not obedient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is curious, skeptical, playful, and aggressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Train your mind to ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why does this exist?<br>Why is this expensive?<br>Why is this ugly?<br>Why is this slow?<br>Why is this centralized?<br>Why do people tolerate this?<br>Can I make this simpler?<br>Can I make this more beautiful?<br>Can I make this more fun?<br>Can I make this free?<br>Can I make this premium?<br>Can I make this mine?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurship begins with irritation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You notice something stupid, broken, inefficient, ugly, boring, overpriced, fake, or cowardly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then you build an alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every great business begins as a rebellion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>8. The Entrepreneurial Eye<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a street photographer, I learned the most important entrepreneurial skill:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Noticing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people do not see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They walk past opportunities every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They do not notice pain.<br>They do not notice desire.<br>They do not notice patterns.<br>They do not notice absurdity.<br>They do not notice beauty.<br>They do not notice where people are wasting time.<br>They do not notice where people are confused.<br>They do not notice where people are secretly hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The street photographer and the entrepreneur are cousins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both must be awake.<br>Both must react fast.<br>Both must embrace uncertainty.<br>Both must work with imperfect conditions.<br>Both must create from chaos.<br>Both must trust their gut.<br>Both must move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your camera trains your entrepreneurial instincts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A good photograph says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cLook.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A good business says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cHere. Build Your Website First<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your website is your digital body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social media is rented land.<br>Your website is home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algorithms change.<br>Platforms die.<br>Accounts get banned.<br>Trends rot.<br>But your domain is yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every entrepreneur should own a website with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a clear homepage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an about page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a start here page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a blog<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an email signup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a products page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a contact page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a simple archive of your best work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not overthink design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speed beats perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A simple, fast, text-heavy website with powerful ideas is better than a beautiful website with no soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your website should answer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who are you?<br>What do you believe?<br>What do you make?<br>Who do you serve?<br>How can people learn from you?<br>How can people buy from you?<br>How can people contact you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your website is not a brochure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a living organism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Publish daily. Feed the beast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>11. Blog Like a Maniac<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blogging is entrepreneurship in its purest form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because blogging forces you to think.<br>Blogging creates proof of work.<br>Blogging attracts like-minded people.<br>Blogging compounds over time.<br>Blogging trains your voice.<br>Blogging creates intellectual property.<br>Blogging turns your life into a research lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people are afraid to publish because they want to appear smart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forget that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Publish to become smarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your blog is your gym for ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every post is a rep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some reps are ugly. Good.<br>Some posts are short. Good.<br>Some ideas are wrong. Good.<br>Some essays are insane. Even better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The entrepreneur who publishes daily becomes inevitable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The silent genius loses to the loud learner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Write. Publish. Iterate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>12. The 1,000 Blog Post Rule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before you complain that nobody knows you, publish 1,000 blog posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not tweets.<br>Not captions.<br>Not private journal entries.<br>Not notes hidden in an app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The internet rewards proof of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One blog post is nothing.<br>Ten blog posts is practice.<br>One hundred blog posts is a signal.<br>One thousand blog posts is a fortress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You want people to trust you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Show them your thinking over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The blog is the ultimate entrepreneurial weapon because it costs almost nothing and compounds forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A blog post you write today can still attract someone ten years from now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is leverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>13. Email Is More Powerful Than Social Media<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Build an email list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Email is intimate.<br>Email is direct.<br>Email is portable.<br>Email is not dependent on an algorithmic feed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your email list is not a vanity metric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Send useful thoughts.<br>Send essays.<br>Send product announcements.<br>Send workshop invitations.<br>Send personal updates.<br>Send things that make people stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not spam.<br>Do not manipulate.<br>Do not use fake scarcity.<br>Do not treat people like leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Treat your email list like a tribe of sovereign humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Give them fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>14.
