{"id":662920,"date":"2025-04-09T18:46:14","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T22:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/?p=662920"},"modified":"2025-04-09T18:46:17","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T22:46:17","slug":"how-to-master-your-emotions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2025\/04\/09\/how-to-master-your-emotions\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Master Your Emotions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whoa yesterday was a wild ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I guess I have true skin in the game, just a quick breather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1,000 pound lift<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I think a big thing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you can master your emotions, fear, physiology <em>BEFORE<\/em> attempting to lift 1,000 pounds &#8211;&gt; you are a god.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Difficult for me to explain to a non-one rep max lifter, or a non-powerlifter &#8211;&gt;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The only true fear to face in today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s world is the attempt or the risk of a new one rep max, which you have never attempted before!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some fears:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Will the equipment break?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will you injure yourself?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also: having to focus 10000% of your energy and focus to attempt to lift the thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you already know with 100% certainty that you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be successful in lifting the thing BEFORE you do it, it ain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worth doing!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whoa yesterday was a wild ride.
