Yet honestly\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 Who has the time to read a book anymore?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> I have a theory: let us say that you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re thinking about researching something, obviously you will buy a book on the topic. Yet it almost becomes funny enough, a lazy way out. You buy book on the topic, and you let it sit on your shelf as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153reference\u00e2\u20ac\u009d material\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 but you \u00e2\u20ac\u0153outsource\u00e2\u20ac\u009d your thinking of the topic by doing the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153lazy\u00e2\u20ac\u009d thing \u00e2\u20ac\u201d buying the book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some critical issues here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Honestly, 99.9% of books are just not worth reading in general. It will get quickly outdated, either the statistical modeling, the concept and ideas etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Second, getting a book contract nowadays not that big of a deal. There are so many publishers now, and often there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s this bad scheme in which the author has to front the money, to the publisher, just to get some sort of weird legitimacy, in order to publish it?
