He was also lucky enough to get a test-unit of the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0074WDFOK\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=erikimstrpho-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0074WDFOK\">Olympus OM-D EM-5<\/a> directly from Olympus, and tested it extensively the past few days.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned in my last post, you don&#8217;t want to fall victim to <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2012\/03\/10-tips-on-how-to-cure-yourself-of-gas-gear-acquisition-syndrome\/\">GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome)<\/a>. However if you are using a DSLR and find it too bulky or have a point-and-shoot and want something a bit beefier yet compact, I found the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0074WDFOK\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=erikimstrpho-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0074WDFOK\">Olympus OM-D EM-5<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0a pretty solid option paired with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0058PL9R0\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=erikimstrpho-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B0058PL9R0\">Olympus 12mm f\/2 Lens<\/a> (which is great for <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/an-introduction-to-zone-focusing-or-hyperfocal-focusing-for-your-leica-rangefinder-or-dslr\/\">zone focusing<\/a>).
