Start off in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Bryant+Park\/@40.7543139,-73.9853533,17z\/data=!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x89c25855518927d9:0xa2c07a71c3cedeb8!2sBryant+Park,+New+York,+NY!3b1!8m2!3d40.7548422!4d-73.9841088!3m4!1s0x0:0xb49cafb82537f1a7!8m2!3d40.7535966!4d-73.9832325\">Bryant Park<\/a>, loop around the park, check out the library next door (good to shoot indoor street photography there), and then just keep walking up and down 5th avenue, and when you get bored, head up and down 6th [Avenue of the Americas] and 7th avenue.<\/p>\n<p>I love 5th and 6th Avenue because you get all these interesting characters. I got my famous &#8216;Laughing Lady&#8217; photo on 6th avenue. You get lots of glitzy and fashionable folks, who <em>like<\/em> to have their photos shot. A good place to practice <a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2017\/06\/10\/street-portraits-101\/\">STREET PORTRAITS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>b. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Wall+St,+New+York,+NY\/@40.705967,-74.0094823,19z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c25a165bedccab:0x2cb2ddf003b5ae01!8m2!3d40.7061927!4d-74.0091604\">Wall Street<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/erickimphotography.com\/storage\/cache\/images\/000\/481\/eric-kim-street-photography-suits-project-kodak-portra-400-film-10%2Clarge.1473219025.jpg?w=1180\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wall Street is very small. But still good to shoot some &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2017\/06\/15\/suits-by-eric-kim\/\">SUITS<\/a>&#8216;. Good to practice candid street photography here, because a SUIT will <em>not<\/em> punch you in the face (or else you can probably sue them, and maybe make a few million bucks).<\/p>\n<h3>c. My suggestions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Avoid Times Square: Full of tourists, too crowded for street photography.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid seeing the Statue of Liberty. To me, it is a waste of time. Just look at photos on Google Images.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid Empire State Building.
