{"id":567805,"date":"2023-11-24T08:26:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-24T13:26:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/?p=567805"},"modified":"2023-11-24T08:32:51","modified_gmt":"2023-11-24T13:32:51","slug":"the-trend-towards-uglification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2023\/11\/24\/the-trend-towards-uglification\/","title":{"rendered":"THE TREND TOWARDS UGLIFICATION."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Theory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new modern day trend is that it is an imperative to uglify yourself to the max.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The logic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The world is all pain, suffering, badness and evil.. and I feel I cannot do anything about it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I hate myself and the way I feel about myself, and the way I will dull these negative feelings is to drug myself and pacify myself with Netflix, music, Spotify, noise canceling headphones, YouTube, weed, alcohol, drugs, and food and beverages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a consequence, one\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s body becomes uglier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I hate myself and the way my body looks \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s make it even more ugly to <em>lean into<\/em> the ugly aesthetic\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let me put on ugly clothes, ugly sweaters, have ugly pants and accessories\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 ugly hair, and make myself look as unkept as possible. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m going to make being ugly and looking ugly cool!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 the hate and hatred towards the beautiful, tall, proud, strong, confident, happy, spartan, topless.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Theory: The new modern day trend is that it is an imperative to uglify yourself to the max.
