If you want to succeed, you need to be BOLD. Boldness, courage, strength, and infallible belief in yourself is the only way to win.<\/p>\n

What is BOLDNESS?<\/h2>\n

To me, BOLDNESS is not fearing death.<\/p>\n

To be BOLD: don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t hesitate. Jump before you look.<\/p>\n

Of course, you want to make \u00e2\u20ac\u0153calculated risks.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d For example, don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t just quit your job because photography is your passion. You gotta actually make money before quitting your day job.<\/p>\n

To me a calculated risk is:<\/p>\n

\n Know your maximum downside, and adjust accordingly.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For myself, I am able to be bold when blogging and sharing controversial ideas, because nothing can hurt me. Unfortunately, if there is anything I learned from the Trump election it is this:<\/p>\n

\n As an entrepreneur or artist, there is no such thing as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153bad press.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Essentially, all press is good press.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you want to succeed, you need attention. The new movie \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Okja\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (great film) got all this free press, because the director released it on Netflix the same time it was released in theaters. Apparently it broke all these legal rules, but the controversy led to the popularity of the film.<\/p>\n

Even Kanye West would post all this controversial shit on Twitter, and engaging in \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Twitter wars\u00e2\u20ac\u009d with other artists. But this helped him build all this hype for his \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Life of Pablo\u00e2\u20ac\u009d album. And it became one of the most popular streamed albums of all time.<\/p>\n

How to harness controversy<\/h2>\n

Some folks call me (ERIC KIM) one of the most controversial photographer bloggers out there. I agree.<\/p>\n

Why am I controversial? I just say what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on my mind, and cannot be controlled. People like to watch me, and read my stuff, because I go against the grain. I just say what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on my brain.<\/p>\n
