Are you an avid street photographer seeking to develop your own unique photographic vision and stand out from the crowd?<\/h2>\n

To this day, there are countless street photographers pounding the pavement and shooting anything that moves with their cameras and smartphones.\u00c2\u00a0 How does one stand out from the crowd?\u00c2\u00a0 How does one build a strong, unique look to their photos to make them memorable and worthwhile to look at?\u00c2\u00a0 How does one get photos worthy of gallery exhibitions and photobooks?<\/p>\n

To find out, join me at my intensive intermediate street photography workshop to be held in Downtown LA <\/strong>from February 3rd<\/sup> to the 5th<\/sup> <\/strong>in association with the Hatakeyama Gallery.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I will be helping no more than 15 participants <\/strong>find their own unique photographic style, so that by the end of the workshop, they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be able to go forth and boldly produce and showcase significant bodies of work.\u00c2\u00a0 There will be plenty of hands-on guidance while we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re out shooting on the streets and focused, personalized feedback during critiques.<\/p>\n

You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be assigned a specific project to shoot over the three days on the streets of Downtown LA, alongside myself and my guest speakers Rinzi Ruiz<\/a><\/strong> and Jordan Dunn<\/a><\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 On the second day, your assignment photos will be critiqued \u00e2\u20ac\u201c identifying what worked, what didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t, and what could be improved on.<\/p>\n

We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll also be studying the works of the master street photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Garry Winogrand, Elliott Erwitt, Vivian Maier and many more.\u00c2\u00a0 Through discussion of their quotes, photos, and videos, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll learn their specific insights into street photography, what makes them great, and how these principles can be applied to your own unique style.<\/p>\n
