Eric Kim was born in 1988
\nand like Justin says, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153You were the original lightweight.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

I had my first taste for freedom at age 16
\nWhen I peeled out to the green, in my ’91 Sentra SE-R car.<\/p>\n

Eric Kim never joined a gang,
\nBut his friends tried to get him to join– pressured fangs.<\/p>\n

Eric Kim did grow up in poverty,
\nHe never went hungry, but his father would go on gambling sprees.<\/p>\n

Eric Kim is an egotistic maniac,
\nBut he stayed true to his life goals, God kept him on track.<\/p>\n

When he went to UCLA, he packed his Sentra with his dreams
\nOf his future
\nOf choosing who he were to be– a free spirit, to help inspire others.<\/p>\n

Eric doesn’t have any brothers, just one sister, Anna Annette Kim
\nHe only treated her, his cousin DJ, and his mother as his only true kin.<\/p>\n

In freshman year of college, he passed on the tonic and gin
\nHe was focused on his studies, all he wanted to do was win.<\/p>\n

He already got fucked up a lot in high school, drinking Vodka with no chasers in back alley parking lots.
\nEric remembers throwing up a lot,
\nMind whirling, red tonic,
\nand being saved by his mom
\nAlmost choking to death on his own vomit.<\/p>\n

Eric met Cindy at Kyrie,
\nA Catholic club, where it was weird– \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We liked to pray.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d
\nI would overhear her voice touching Rosary beads,
\nI didn’t know it yet, but she would be perfect for me.<\/p>\n

Cindy believed in me every step of the way,
\nShe helped me start Photo Club with John and Daniel in one day.<\/p>\n

Cindy pushed me to start my photo blog,
\nTo log my everyday progress.<\/p>\n

Her words would stream into me, high-fidelity, turquoise-green.<\/p>\n

When I started to get street photography famous,
\nI would get laced with
\nRandom haters on YouTube and the internet
\nWho wanted me to die
\nEric Kim: headless.<\/p>\n

I admit, it hurt me a lot
\nI never thought
\nOthers would try to tear me down
\nWhen I was trying to help a lot.<\/p>\n

I became bitter and black,
\nI lost my way, Lucifer took me on his track.<\/p>\n

I became a closet hater
\nA self-hating and obsessing masturbator.<\/p>\n

But Cindy helped me see the light again,
\nShe has always been my best-friend.<\/p>\n

Cindy is my angel and advocate
\nSlaying my inner-demons
\nBronze sword, killing with her mind of reason.<\/p>\n

Cindy thank you today and tomorrow,
\nI often borrow
\nYour great ideas, without giving you credit.
\nI have benefitted much from you,
\nYou have strengthened me, and colored my inner-hue.<\/p>\n

Sometimes I’m clueless
\nSometimes I’m an asshole
\nBut know, you mean to me more than the world.<\/p>\n

ERIC KIM: it is true,
\nI am an ego-maniac
\nBut I do it as a cover to patch my lack
\nOf self-esteem.<\/p>\n
