During this whole journey, I never questioned this, what does \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Christ\u00e2\u20ac\u009d actually mean? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I did some research, and according to <a href=\"http:\/\/wiktionary.org\">wiktionary.org<\/a>, it comes from the ancient Greek, Christos (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/\u00cf\u2021\u00cf\u0081\u00ce\u00b9\u00cf\u0192\u00cf\u201e\u00cf\u0152\u00cf\u201a#Ancient_Greek\">khristos<\/a>) which means \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the anointed one\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wiktionary.org\/wiki\/\u00cf\u2021\u00cf\u0081\u00ce\u00af\u00cf\u2030#Ancient_Greek\">Khrio<\/a>\u00e2\u20ac\u201d in ancient times, to anoint somebody with olive oil.
