My wonder\u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can we live and thrive in a capitalist and consumerist world, in a meaningfully productive way?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subtract the superfluous, add the critical.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, if you live in LA, your life is made <em>superior<\/em> by owning a car. The nuance\u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simply having <em>A<\/em> car makes life better, you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need a <em>certain<\/em> type of car.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note my 2009 Hyundai Sonata I got from my mom for free, and got it tuned up at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osbornauto.com\">Pacific Tire Autoworks in Redondo beach<\/a> for only $2,000 and now the car runs like new. Essentially I got a brand new car for only $2,000 and she runs like a champ!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do you want from life?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='1180' height='664' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/lv2btToU?cover=1&amp;autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;posterUrl=https%3A%2F%2Ferickimphotography.com%2Fblog%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2023%2F02%2F330-pound-golds-gym-venice-beach-golden-dumbbell-duck-walk-eric-kim-strength-lifting_mov_std.original.jpg&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;useAverageColor=1&amp;hd=0' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen data-resize-to-parent=\"true\" allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1770107250'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you want a fur coat, a rolls, or a Diamond chain?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or do you want an iPhone Pro, a Tesla Plaid, a house, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.richardmille.com\">Richard Mille<\/a>, a Lamborghini (Urus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamborghini.com\/en-en\/models\/urus\/urus-performante\">Performante<\/a>) or Aventador or Hurucan, etc?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My general thought after becoming the <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2023\/02\/24\/how-i-became-the-goat-at-golds-gym-in-venice-beach\/\">new GOAT at Golds Gym<\/a> in Venice Beach \u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ultimately once you step into the arena\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 it don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t matter who you are, how rich you are, how famous you are, what you drive etc \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 the only thing which matters is your strength, courage, self audacity, self confidence, muscles, whether you have a good tan or not, and your health.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without even knowing it, I went viral three times over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lamborghini is unimpressive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-videopress\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"VideoPress Video Player\" aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='1180' height='664' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/nuuJgUPT?cover=1&amp;autoPlay=1&amp;loop=1&amp;muted=1&amp;persistVolume=0&amp;posterUrl=https%3A%2F%2Ferickimphotography.com%2Fblog%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2023%2F02%2Fimg_1735_mov_std.original.jpg&amp;preloadContent=metadata&amp;useAverageColor=1&amp;hd=0' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen data-resize-to-parent=\"true\" allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/v0.wordpress.com\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js?m=1770107250'><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I saw an orange Lamborghini Aventador, drop top convertible coupe in the parking lot of the Golds gym in Venice beach parking lot, with the top down, and I was shocked \u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In real life, up close and personal, it is actually very unimpressive.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First of all, it looks really small. Like smaller than a Honda Civic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then the understanding \u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lamborghini is 100% marketing. Also understand that <strong>marketing has a stronger impact on us than we would like to think<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marketing works. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m also starting to think <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2023\/02\/23\/short-tesla\/\">short Tesla<\/a> \u00e2\u20ac\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The concept of the Tesla is superior to the thing itself.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spending a lot of time in the Tesla dealership \u00e2\u20ac\u201d the cars themselves feel pretty cheap.
