What is motivation, where does it come from, and also, what is the physiology behind it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motivation means to move<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Motivation, motus, motor, movement. Motivation literally means movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is an interesting intervention, because, people think that they need motivation <em>in order<\/em> to do something. I say on the contrary, <em>while<\/em> you are doing something, you are motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, let us talk the gym. People often think that you need motivation <em>in orde<\/em>r to go to the gym and to work out. However the hilarity is that once you are actually inside the gym, then the motivation will come to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t seek motivation <em>before<\/em> going to the gym. Better to just be mindless, and to just drive to the gym, and then figure it out once you get there.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let us remember the very wise <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2016\/11\/06\/20-photography-and-life-lessons-from-publilius-syrus\/\">Publilius Syrus<\/a> saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The gladiator creates his plans <em>once<\/em> he enters the arena.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The gladiator makes his plans <em>before<\/em> he enters the arena.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Photo Motivation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is also an interesting point, in regards to motivation in photography. A lot of us think we need motivation, in order to go out and make photos, etc. Guitar fuser passion. Yet, what gets in the way for us to pursue it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My simple thought is that it is not an issue in regards to motivation. Rather, the critical issue is actually the fact that the equipment gets in the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, any camera that doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t fit in your front row pocket is not a good one. Why? It will obstruct your ability to go out and make photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is why I am such a huge proponent of the Ricoh GR 3X digital camera.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Philosophy of Motivation Motivation.
