I want to give you some practical tips on how to be a good photographer.<\/p>\n

1. What is \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgood\u00e2\u20ac\u2122?<\/h2>\n

I like the idea of being a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgood\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 photographer. You don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t need to aspire to be a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgreat\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 photographer. Because if you want to become a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgreat\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 photographer\u00e2\u20ac\u201d you are putting your self-esteem in the hands of others.<\/p>\n

You need to be \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgreat\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 by getting lots of likes on social media, and the applause of strangers.<\/p>\n

You can become \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgood\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 by your own self-assessment of yourself.<\/p>\n

So start off, by looking at your own photos and think to yourself:<\/p>\n

2. Don’t aim for\u00c2\u00a0perfection<\/h2>\n

Perfectionism is death. Nothing is perfect. Nothing in nature is perfect\u00e2\u20ac\u201d it is on a constant flow of change, of evolution, of death, rebirth, and growth. Would you call a tree \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcperfect\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 or not? No; but it still grows, gains nutrients from the earth and the air, and keeps growing until it reaches the heavens.<\/p>\n

For you \u00e2\u20ac\u201d seek to be a little better in your photography everyday.<\/p>\n

If you are a tree; you gain nutrition from the soil and air. As a photographer, you gain nutrition from studying the work of the master photographers<\/a> (and artists) of the past. You also become taller as a photographer by making more photos, making more risks, and making more personal photos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also, to make photos like a kid– to have fun. And to\u00c2\u00a0realize all photos you make is art (because it is personal self-expression).<\/p>\n

3. Be your own harshest critic<\/h2>\n

The most important person to impress in your photography is yourself.<\/p>\n

Be your own harshest critic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Which means, make photos that makes you proud of yourself.<\/p>\n

Before you ask anyone for their opinion on your photo; once again \u00e2\u20ac\u201d look at your own photo and as yourself:<\/p>\n
