When I need inspiration, I look to Muhammad Ali — the great fighter and champion of human rights:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Take risks<\/h2>\n

He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No risk, no reward.<\/p>\n

We need to have the guts to accomplish great things in life. To take more risks in life<\/a>, and not be afraid of the downside. Of ridicule, of criticism, or hatred.<\/p>\n

We need to treat each day like it were our last, and not fear risk. But embrace it.<\/p>\n

2. Don’t quit<\/h2>\n

I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Short-term suffering for long-term gains. Don’t quit now.<\/p>\n

When shit gets bad, learn how to bounce back in life<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And no matter what, never give up on your dreams<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3. Make each day count<\/h2>\n

Don’t count the days, make the days count.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Don’t count the days; make the days count. Wise words.<\/p>\n

What if we lived each day like it were our last? Because counting the days is pointless. We don’t know when we will die.<\/p>\n

4. Dedicate your life to serving others<\/h2>\n

Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If we dedicate our lives serving and helping others; we will always be able to pay our rent, and feed ourselves.<\/p>\n

5. Turn shit into gold<\/h2>\n

If they can make penicillin out of mouldy bread, they can sure make something out of you.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They can make medicine out of moldy bread. Even if we think we are old, moldy, worn out, and useless– we can do something great with our lives.<\/p>\n
