{"id":394521,"date":"2022-04-17T13:08:23","date_gmt":"2022-04-17T17:08:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/?p=394521"},"modified":"2022-04-17T14:52:11","modified_gmt":"2022-04-17T18:52:11","slug":"in-praise-of-touchbar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2022\/04\/17\/in-praise-of-touchbar\/","title":{"rendered":"In Praise of TouchBar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Getting rid of the Touch Bar seems like a massive step *<a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2022\/02\/18\/a-step-forward-or-a-step-backwards\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"355013\">BACKWARDS<\/a>*,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I really like the TouchBar on <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2018\/06\/26\/turbo-creation-why-a-maxed-out-macbook-laptop-is-the-best-investment-you-can-make-for-photography-entrepreneurship\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"99178\">MacBook Pro<\/a> &#8212; the ability to program it, and also, the intuitive ways to change the brightness and volume controls, and access my Apple Music library (change songs without opening a new app).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2022\/04\/17\/deep-integration\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"395019\">deep integration<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2022\/04\/03\/apple-photos-is-the-killer-app\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"371625\">Apple Photos<\/a> (flag photos, send photos, favorite photos, rotate photos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TouchBar with the MacBook Pro was a *HUGE LEAP* forward in terms of futuristic thinking with the laptop.
