{"id":3700,"date":"2011-08-04T12:44:45","date_gmt":"2011-08-04T19:44:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/?p=3700"},"modified":"2011-08-10T23:00:16","modified_gmt":"2011-08-11T06:00:16","slug":"shooting-street-photography-with-a-flash-in-hollywood-bruce-gilden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2011\/08\/04\/shooting-street-photography-with-a-flash-in-hollywood-bruce-gilden\/","title":{"rendered":"Shooting Street Photography With a Flash in Hollywood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"660\" height=\"405\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/J9vI79uflMY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>During my Los Angeles Street Photography Workshop, <a href=\"http:\/\/rinziruizphotography.zenfolio.com\/\">Rinzi Ruiz<\/a> followed me around and recorded me shooting street photography with my Canon 5D, 24mm f\/2.8, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/YN-560-Speedlight-Flash-Canon-Nikon\/dp\/B004GZLFHM\">YN 560 Flash<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.customslr.com\/products\/c-loop\">CSLR C-loop<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0056RCQJK\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=cusl-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B0056RCQJK\">Glidestrap<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed the experience and this time aimed my flash aiming upwards from a low angle (while crouching down). As you can see through the video, a lot of people were very friendly (as long as I smiled and said &#8220;thank you&#8221; or that I liked something they were wearing).
