Interestingly enough, the most *DIS-CLEAR* (difficult to see, discern what is going on in an image), the better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When things are DIS-CLEAR, you must squint a bit, use your brain a little to interpret<\/em> what is going on in the frame. Also use your imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps this is why abstract<\/a> art is so enthralling to me — I *must* interpret it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nota bene (take good note):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Blur<\/a> is good<\/li>
  2. Out of focus<\/a> is good<\/li>
  3. As dark as possible<\/a> (monochrome<\/a>) is good.<\/li>
  4. Don’t show everything that is happening in the frame.<\/li>
