I believe that all of us were put on the earth for a reason. We were all given a set of skills, talents, and gifts. And what is the purpose of all of this that has been given to us? To share it with others. For us to go forth, and help empower other humans.<\/p>\n

For example, your skills might have included teaching, your patience, your artistic sensibilities, your love, and your creative insights. How are you using those skills to help those around you?<\/p>\n

Personally, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve found that once my basic needs were met \u00e2\u20ac\u201d paying rent, keeping myself warm, and buying food (and coffee), everything else was superfluous. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve found the greatest satisfaction serving others, rather than serving myself.<\/p>\n

Lots of psychological studies back this up. When given $20 \u00e2\u20ac\u201d we are generally happier when we spend $20 on others, rather than $20 on ourselves.<\/p>\n

I think it is in our human DNA to love sharing, to love benefiting others, and to help empower others. After all, to be human is to be social. And to be social is to share our gifts with others. Our financial gifts, our mental gifts, and our gift of love.<\/p>\n

So go forth and share whatever talents you may have. Share your time with others. Share your compassion with others. Share your creative methods with others. Share your books, information, and cameras\/equipment\/devices with others.<\/p>\n
