{"id":345120,"date":"2021-12-25T14:51:16","date_gmt":"2021-12-25T19:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/?p=345120"},"modified":"2021-12-25T14:54:03","modified_gmt":"2021-12-25T19:54:03","slug":"constrictive-critique","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2021\/12\/25\/constrictive-critique\/","title":{"rendered":"Constrictive Critique"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m currently watching the new MATRIX 4 (I love the <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/04\/02\/eric-kim-matrix-philosophy-compete\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"220544\">original<\/a>), and I really don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t like it. Granted I have not finished it yet, so I cannot make a proper critique or criticism yet. Yet the question that comes to my mind: what is the purpose of criticism or critique?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only idea I have is this: a <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2018\/09\/29\/how-to-give-a-constructive-critique-in-photography-2\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"114406\">constructive critique<\/a> is the only worth critique given. That is, when your critique something or somebody, you must use that information and knowledge in order to improve yourself, or to not make the same mistake you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, when I witness or observe certain character traits or actions of others that I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t like, my personal goal is to not mirror that same activity or behavior. Thus to <strong>critique others with <\/strong><em><strong>uncompromising sincerity<\/strong> <\/em>seems to be the goal. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m currently watching the new MATRIX 4 (I love the original), and I really don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t like it.
