Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t entertain a high opinion of any other person (besides yourself).<\/p>\n

In American society (and a lot of the world), we tend to \u00e2\u20ac\u02dchero worship.\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 We look up to celebrities. We look up to athletes. We look up to billionaires. We look up to the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcrich\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 and \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcsuccessful\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<\/p>\n
But why do you care about the success of others? Shouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t you just focus on yourself?<\/p>\n
I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think we should ever compare ourselves to anybody. We shouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t compare ourselves to those who are ahead of us, and we shouldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t compare ourselves to those who are behind us.<\/p>\n
We should just compare ourselves to ourself. Compare yourself to who you were a year ago. Have you made progress? Are you still growing? Or are you slowly dying?<\/p>\n

Find inspiration from others, but don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t put them on a pedestal. See them as guides, not your masters. Those who we are inspired by\u00e2\u20ac\u201d they spent their entire lives seeking the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153truth\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and found what worked for them.<\/p>\n
Similarly, we must do the same\u00e2\u20ac\u201d seek the truth by ourselves, with guides helping us, but ultimately finding our destination by ourselves.<\/p>\n
If you never compared yourself with anybody else, how much happier, more encouraged, and excited would you be?<\/p>\n
