I take out the one black merino wool shirt I have in my drawer, a ‘less desirable’ Minus 33-branded merino wool black t-shirt (as opposed to my collection of Outlier.nyc t-shirts which are far superior).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Then the thought:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Actually, after having the best (Outlier.nyc merino wool t-shirts), I realize– I don’t actually need the best. The more ‘bargain’ brand actually works just fine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
What I learned after my Leica journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
LEICA<\/a> is considered by all street photographers as the apex brand, the apex camera. But after my journey of going from Canon 350D (Rebel XT) to Canon 5D (original) to Leica M9, to film Leica M6, to film LEICA MP<\/a> is this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t need the ‘best’ camera. In fact, often the ‘best’ camera is actually cheaper, and less assuming.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
For example, after my decade+ of experimentation … I have actually discovered the RICOH GR III<\/a> as the apex camera for almost everything. Better than Leica M10-R, better than any digital medium format camera, etc. Why? The supreme in smallness, compactness, quality (both build quality and image quality), and the ability for you to shoot more photos (it will make you a more productive photographer<\/a>). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
