Often times people try to stand out by being super flashy. But ironically enough, when everyone tries to be flashy, everyone just ends up looking the same. For example, I remember the one time I was in downtown LA and I went to a coffee shop and there was a guy wearing a big floppy black hat. He seemed cool, but the second another person with a big black flag you had entered, tell me he became very uncool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or another thing: when everyone was wearing all red sneakers, people thought they were standing out and being unique, but in actuality everyone was looking the same. Maybe it is the same with all these rappers driving Lamborghinis and wearing Richard Millie watches. Like Jay Z says, you can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t tell who is who. Everyone seems the same. Then perhaps creative isolation is a good thing. For example, how Kendrick Lamar intentionally took a step back to recuperate his creative energies for about 3 to 4 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also one of the best ways to stand out is to just take all of your interests and passions and combined them all together. The admixture of your different passions is what will make you stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
