We are alive. We exist in embodied reality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in today’s world where we got virtual reality, video games, Netflix, etc… what is the purpose of being alive and what is the purpose of existence? And what do you want to derive from reality?<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Augmenting our ego?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First thought —<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps we desire to augment our ego.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

For example, we desire to augment our bodily physique. We want more muscle mass, less body fat. Even if you are the most epic player in World of Warcraft, but with a poor physique in real life, is it worth it? No. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You want to look at yourself in the mirror and feel great about yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The desire to procreate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s any stronger human desire than the desire to procreate, that is to continue your genetic legacy, and to replicate yourself in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The desire for great health<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Another thing, you would not want to be the worlds richest person in the world, if you had the worst health in the world. When it comes to reality and embodied reality, health is king. Health as manifested through bodily vigor, muscular strength, great sleep, and overall well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The desire to make art<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Perhaps our biological pathways for the desire to create artwork is the same as a desire to make children. Then perhaps the goal is for you to make artwork, or to make children. Or in the ideal situation, do both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The desire to play, learn, create, and to have fun<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        I think it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s in human nature to play. Playing as manifested as having fun, and having fun as in challenging yourself, and learning something new. I see this in real time with the learning and playing in front of baby Seneca, he is my ultimate life mentor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Do you wish to engage more with reality, or less with reality?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Certainly everything is real. That is, Internet relationships are real relationships, but they may not be embodied relationships. And there is a difference between virtual reality and embodied reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          My thoughts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Perhaps a greater future is a future with greater health, more muscular strength and vigor, greater sleep, fewer drugs alcohols and hallucinogens. More delight in in writing with embodied reality humans, then perhaps Street photography is the way.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
