Some thoughts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Really wanted to like and buy the new iPhone 12 Pro, but hated it. Too heavy, too big, and in concept while I like the stainless steel concept and the flat edges, it actually ends up being \u00e2\u20ac\u0152<em>less<\/em> usable. The <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2019\/10\/31\/iphone-pro-is-good-enough-for-photography\/\">iPhone 11 Pro<\/a> design seemed better. For bigger phones, flat edges seems like a step backwards.<\/li><li>Really like the new iPhone mini. Perfect size. Not too small or big. I opted to get iPhone 12 mini over the iPhone 12 Pro \u00e2\u20ac\u201d even though I can afford both! I am so happy I can finally use the iPhone one handed again. And the iPhone 12 mini seems superior to the <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/11\/iphone-se-is-the-best-iphone\/\">iPhone SE<\/a> in terms of the camera and everything else. As of <strong>2021, it seems the iPhone 12 Mini is the best phone<\/strong>.<\/li><li>I used to be a huge Android fanboy (and anti Apple), but honestly moving forward, I don&#8217;t think I will ever buy another Android device or phone ever again. Why? At this point, <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2020\/09\/25\/google-is-adware\/\">Google is adware<\/a>. And or it seems <a href=\"https:\/\/erickimphotography.com\/blog\/2021\/03\/23\/things-designed-to-rob-you-of-your-focus\/\">Google is designed to rob you of your focus<\/a>. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-time-to-short-apple\">Time to short Apple?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After my disappointment with handling the iPhone 12 Pro in the Apple store, I thought to myself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Oh wow, after Jony Ive has left Apple &#8230; things seem to be going downhill.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certainly Apple will continue to dominate the smartphone\/technology scene for a long time to come, but will this be the sign of Apple&#8217;s slow (but eventual demise, like Microsoft) to some (unknown) future competitor?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just got a new iPhone mini and was checking out all the new iPhones.
